This colossal pond, which was utilized for the requirements of water by the monks, could be the ancient Maspata Pokuna 1st century B.C. underground conduits conveying water from reservoirs to this pond and channels discharge water out of if had been discovered. The length and width of this pond is 159m ×53m and six times the size of the Olympic swimming pool.
