Introduction
1905. Active; focal plane 13 m (43 ft); red flash every 3 s. 12 m (36 ft) round stone tower with lantern and gallery, painted white. A small photo is available in which this lighthouse appears near the right edge, and Google has a satellite view. Located at the south end of the detached breakwater protecting Colombo Harbour, marking the north side of the western entrance. Accessible only by boat. Site and tower closed.
